So, Shadow and I are in the process of finishing up our first fursuit head. QUESTION...should we tape/fur the ears THEN fold them (they have wires in them so they can be straight or folded), or fold THEN tape/fur? Any help is appreciated. XD

I've come to a halt in my head construction. I've looked through the heads memories, but I cannot find what I was looking for. So my question is, for those with a mesh fursuit head, What do you line it with? I was making the head for a friend and it didn't seem very professional or nice to give it to her considering how icky the inside looked. My foam was aged and splotchy and I don't want her to see that. It'd be easy to say just get a balaclava, but you still see the inside of the head, you just don't feel it. Can anyone help?

 no particular breed (as far as i know) i just followed the ref. i did look up bat noses because the nose on the ref is a bit obscure and man do bats ever have strange noses o.O
this guy looks better in person, the pictures pick up the glare of the shiny red fur and the black around the eyes way more than the human eye does, plus i wish i had better lighting >_<
his expression is supposed to be "friendly stoner surfer with a very dark, sadistic side. The polite, friendly serial killer, lol" which are contradicting expressions so it was hard to pull off, i got the friendly part ...and hopefully him being devil colored is enough for the evil part XD

Hi everyone!
Someone on this board made a zombie/bone wolf fursuit, right? It was all bloody and mostly bone colored. I was wondering if I could ask where they heck they got the foam skull base. Hi everyone. Quick question: what would be the best method to attach my finished plastic bowl eyes to the head? I have some reservations about using hot glue or the like, because of the potential to rip or mangle the fur underneath (especially if I need to reposition them). Any info would be a big help! =3

So I'm looking to make my first partial, stuck between a goat and a horse and a llama! But what I'm really wondering is if I should try the balaclava (sp?) with plastic mesh or foam for my first try.
Is one deemed easier to fix than another? Or is one recommended for a certain head shape?

I am going to be making a fursuit for my boyfriend, I have the foam, but no fur yet. I know where I'm getting the fur so no help needed on that. I was just wondering about the foaming part. Is it okay if I use fiberglass to cover the foam to make it a whole hell of a lot stronger? The reason why I want to do this... he might wear it playing airsoft... so extra protection for his face.

I was wondering since you can take long pile fur and sew it on with the grain facing backwards. Would it work if you took a weft and sewed/glued it like that? Or do wefts not work that way? If they do actually work that way. Has any one ever done this and achieved a mohawk affect ? Like a big mohawk. Like take what ever way it appears to be laying and make the weft go against the fur grain.
